The Energy Park Fife - UK

The Energy Park Fife Decommissioning Facility is one of the UK’s most advanced decommissioning facilities.

The facilities substantial hard standing dismantlement and processing area has a purpose-built membrane layer incorporated into the concrete slab, with a full water collection and treatment system to ensure that all fluids are collected and treated on-site, ensuring zero emissions to sea or ground.

All fluids are collected, sampled, separated and treated prior to being safely discharged back to sea. As only small volumes of contaminated fluids require transportation from site for disposal at certified waste receivers, significant cost savings are on passed to our clients and our carbon footprint is reduced substantially by reducing road traffic to and from the facility for the disposal of fluids.

With 165 metres of quayside, water depth up to 8.2m (mean), and 30,000m2 of hard standing laydown area, The Energy Park Fife Decommissioning Facility can accommodate multiple substantial projects in parallel.
